Another roping practice dummy: after that high-end manufactured one, I thought I'd show the humblest by far of the dummies I found, just an old, beat-up sawhorse with an extra board screwed on as a "head".

This one is not for rodeo competition, but purely to practice roping calves for "doctoring" (vaccinations, etc.). The idea is to stand at a pretty good distance away and try to land the loop of the rope immediately in front of the "feet", so that the calf's next forward step would naturally bring its feet into the loop.
