Here's a little preview of our submission for ztoical's upcoming charity anthology:



The final has dialog, of course, and some action in the background. The script and background art were done by my wife, Ellen. Be sure to buy a copy of the anthology to see the final version, along with a lot of other great work!

So these pages are what I was spending all my drawing time on for most of July and the start of August. It took me a LOT of sketches to get the character designs under control. I hadn't really drawn people in a long time, and for weeks every drawing would come out looking like a totally different person. Here's to gradual improvement! (drinks.)

I have a couple of other things to clean up and get posted soon, but "actual" work has been keeping me scrambling a bit since we finished this piece.
